What the hell is Near-CDP and why do people who should know better continue to use the term? It's either continuous or it's not and if it's not continuous then it's a snapshot. They might as well call it Near-Duck or something equally as inane. The first time I heard the words Near-CDP they came out of Microsoft's mouth and they were trying to pass Data Protection Manager off as something more than just a front end to VSS. It's been downhill ever since.
