The Steve Todd Podcast

Steve Todd is one of those superstars of storage software development you know are out there doing all the cool stuff first. In more than two decades of storage software development Steve has worked on FLARE, Navisphere Manager, PowerPath, StorageScope, Centera and too many other things to list here.

In this Podcast we talk about:

-Why RAID-5 is hard.

-Why Clariion's RAID-5 implementation is unique.

-What he learned from Centera.

-What is convergence?

-Why XAM is cool.

-Social Media.

21 minutes and I apologize in advance for blowing out the microphone. Too many years roaring at people via Teamspeak or Ventrillo during online gaming sessions and you find you need to move the microphone further away from your mouth than usual when you're on the phone.

But Steve sounds great and he does most of the talking anyway. ;)
